Alcaraz felt that the Serb is his main opponent at the upcoming US Open. The statement is well justified, given that the two are in good form. Further, the Spaniard added, “I like those battles. I like to know I can lose & I can recover it at the same time. You have to enjoy when the battle is against a legend like Novak. I feel I’m the main opponent for him. For me, it’s something crazy. I’m trying to enjoy it.”

Recently, the tournament’s official Instagram handle shared a picture of Alcaraz during a practice session. The 20-year-old opted to train shirtless as temperatures soared in Cincinnati. Alcaraz has received a bye in the opening round and will directly play in the round-of-32.
