Ondo Guber: APC Chairman Politicians Against Polarising State Chapter

The state chairman of All Progressives Congress(APC), Ondo State chapter, Engr. Ade Adetimehin has warned political gladiators across the federation not to polarise the state chapter of the party ahead of the party’s gubernatorial primary election holding on April 20, 2024 in the state.

Adetimehin also cautioned political supporters of all governorship aspirants against divisive utterances and actions, ahead of the party primary later in the month.

In a statement by Alex Kalejaye, the Publicity Secretary of the party, described as unnecessary the idea of some people constituting themselves into “the aborigines of APC” of the State chapter.

Adetimehin emphasised that “the unity of the party is erected on the pillars of equal opportunities, irrespective of whatever considerations.

“So, the Ondo APC will not condone acts that are aimed at making some members inferior to others, on account of when they joined the party.

“The chapter is for all and would continue to encourage equal opportunities for all the members. New members should entertain no fears in this regards.

“I urge all governorship aspirants to be weary of desperate supporters, who fan embers of disunity for personal gains. This is not healthy for the vibrant chapter of our dream.

“I, therefore , appeal to political gladiators to exhibit regards for the party’s governorship aspirants and other stakeholders to avoid unnecessary friction in the political space.

“Ondo State is known for organisation and enviable political history that should be demonstrated at this critical moment. We own it a duty to showcase the rare ability to go into any contest without rancour.”
