West Yorkshire Police’s standards team is investigating alleged misconduct after the pair were suspended in November 2021.

Both are still being paid, with a Chief Supt earning around £87,000 a year and a PC £29,000.

Their force confirmed both “remain suspended and under investigation”.

It comes as ministers vow to make it easier to dismiss disgraced cops — with at least 2,000 at risk in an overhaul of the misconduct system.
